Frozen Peanut Butter Custard Cups
Peanut butter custard cups that are creamy and have a hint of vanilla. They are frozen just right for a delicious treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions:
In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally
In a separate bowl, whisk together peanut butter, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth
Gradually pour the warm milk mixture into the peanut butter mixture, whisking constantly until well combined
Pour the mixture into custard cups or small ramekins
Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours or overnight
